DPD Next Day Delivery

Delivery Days
  • This delivery option is available from Monday to Friday.
Order Deadline for Next Day (Monday to Thursday)
  • All orders must be placed before 3 pm to qualify for next-day delivery from Monday to Thursday.
Order on Friday
  • Orders placed on Friday after 3 pm will be delivered on the following Monday.
Orders Placed After 3 pm
  • Orders placed and completed after 3 pm on any day will be shipped the next working day.
Delivery Window
  • Deliveries will be made between 9 am and 5:30 pm on the following working day.

DPD Next Day Delivery Saturday

Delivery Days
  • This delivery option is available for orders placed on Friday before 3 pm for delivery on Saturday.
Order Deadline for Next Day (Friday)
  • All orders must be placed before 3 pm to qualify for Saturday delivery.
Orders Placed After 3 pm
  • Orders placed and completed after 3 pm on Friday will be shipped on Monday with Next Day Delivery.
Delivery Window
  • Deliveries will be made between 9 am and 5:30 pm on Saturday.

UK Free Shipping (Mainland)

Delivery Days
  • This delivery option is available Monday to Friday
Delivery Window
  • Deliveries take 3-5 working days & will be made between 9 am and 5:30 pm

International Shipping

  • All International deliveries will be with DPD and may take up to 2 weeks depending on destination.
  • Deliveries may require Duty to be paid in the destination country.

Shipping Policy

Things you need to know

1. Damage during Shipping

You must tell us within 24hrs if packages have arrived damaged in order for us to raise a claim against the shipping company. In event of damage during shipping you must sign for as damaged. You will need to provide information, photographs of all damage to products and packaging to aid us in rectifying the issue.

2. Instalments and Order Cancellation

Please note that your goods may be sent to you in instalments. You have the option to cancel your entire order if subsequent instalments are not delivered.

3. Title and Risk

Title to any product ordered will pass to you once The Bookyard has received payment in full. Risk in any product ordered will pass to you when delivered.

4. International Shipping

If your delivery address is outside the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties and taxes. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. Customs policies vary and cross-border shipments are subject to inspection.

5. Christmas Deliveries

Orders need to be placed before the 19th December to Guarantee deliveries before the Christmas period. Orders may still be dispatched between 19th December and 2nd January but delivery may be delayed.

6. UK VAT

VAT is charged on all orders delivered to UK addresses at the UK rate of 20%.

7. Rest of World VAT

In accordance with UK tax law, VAT is not charged on orders shipped to countries outside the United Kingdom.

8. Import Tax and Duty:

Orders shipped to countries outside the United Kingdom may be subject to import tax and/or duty as per destination country's customs regulations.

Returns Policy

Things you need to know

Returns
  1. Unneeded products may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, provided they are undamaged, still have all packaging and or labelling that render them ‘new’ still intact and have passed re-testing.
  2. After 30 days no refunds will be issued.
  3. Faulty goods may be returned within 12 months of delivery if undamaged.
  4. Items returned due to an error by MacBits will receive a full refund, and shippingcosts will be covered by MacBits.
  5. Refunds for items returned without packaging, damaged/incomplete items, or items that failed due to misuse, mishandling, or connection to other faulty parts may be refused at the discretion of MacBits.
  6. The warranty replacement item will continue the same warranty as the item it is replacing. If the item it is replacing has less than 90 days warranty remaining, the warranty for the replacement item will be 90 days from delivery.
How to Initiate a Return

Customers must contact MacBits customer support to initiate the return process. Provide the order details, reason for return, and any relevant information.

Return Processing

Upon receiving the returned item and verifying its condition, MacBits will process the refund within a reasonable time frame. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method selected by the user in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the Payment method provider.

Conditions for Returns
  1. Products must be returned within the specified time frames (30 days for unneeded products, 12 months for faulty goods).
  2. Returns are to be addressed to MacBits, Unit 22 Mountbatten Business Centre, Southampton, SO15 1HY.
  3. All returns must be shipped using packaging consistent with the original packaging it was received in. Failure to do so is a breach of this returns policy.
  4. Returned goods must be undamaged and have passed re-testing.
  5. Items returned due to an error by MacBits will receive a full refund, including shipping costs covered by MacBits. The shipping costs of items being returned for any other reason will be covered by the customer.
Refusal of Refunds

MacBits reserves the right to refuse refunds for the following:

  1. New items returned without their original packaging.
  2. Items returned damaged or incomplete.
  3. Items that have failed due to misuse, mishandling, or connection to other faulty parts.
